What Information Does Speed Ventures Collect?
In the normal course of your use of SpeedVentures.net, we do not collect any personal information
about you, such as your name, address, phone number or email address. Speed Ventures does, however,
collect certain publicaly available information about you, which in some cases includes which
Internet service provider you use, or your browser type (for example, FireFox, Safari or Internet Explorer).
The information collected by Speed Ventures is used for the purposes of examining our traffic patterns,
verifying compatability of our site with various browsers, and measuring ad effectiveness at bringing
users to the site.
There are some cases, such as registration for events, when a user voluntarily provides personal
information to us. In these situations, Speed Ventures collects the information but does not share
this information with anyone outside of our organization. This information is used by us so that you
can receive the services or information that you requested. Where indicated in some requests, Speed
Ventures may use this information in aggregate form to get a more precise profile of the type of
individuals driving at our events or visiting our sites.
Cookies
SpeedVentures.com does not actively use persistent cookies. We require you to login in order
to register for events or manage your account. We do store your registration information in our
database so the next time you register for an event that information does not need to be re-entered.
Email
Once you have created an account with Speed Ventures, either by registering for an event
or by registering for our email list, we will email you from time to time to let you know about
upcoming events or other news regarding Speed Ventures. You can be removed from this list at any time
by requesting removal in an email to info@SpeedVentures.com or by simply making the change to your profile
on this site. We do not sell, rent, or loan our email list or any other data on our drivers/users to any
other company.
